Re: Ready for the freezer
As part of an instruction on how to prepare a bird I am sure it has it's place. But I fail to see the art in this sorry.

Ouch. that hurt Eric.
I like it, it is 'a real kitchen at work' shot.
No messing around, guts and all shot.
I love it Dave and I would not change a thing.

Re: Ready for the freezer
It is a little gross haha but I am with Dave L on this however the yellow and red are a little distracting and almost out of place in the image.
I wonder if this would fare better as a mono?

Re: Ready for the freezer
I think Pammy may be right, may be return colour to selected areas, also squaring up seems to help. However it's then a very different image, and the impact is completely changed. I would return colour to feathers, and bird not in plastic.
Other idea is single bird and feathers only, but again not the same impact, the original does have a shock factor, which personally I don't like, but others may.

Re: Ready for the freezer
What is going on! I fail to visit the site for a short while and then am confronted with guts on tables, sinister rabbits and beetles from hell! Actually David, this might make a good AV. ;-)
Re: Ready for the freezer
Mike it could get worse I have one of the birds laid out ready for plucking and one of the carcas of a pheasant after dinner!
I know it is a marmite of a picture!
