It's a shame that this coincides with the studio time in Chester tonight!

Sorry Gill!
Maybe we need to signpost dates in the Calendar on the Forum more prominently so that we don't clash in future.
See you next time.

The subject of tonight's forum challenge is
"FOOD"
preferably something very mouth wateringly tasty!!
Good luck and even though I will be away from the pc at times (looking after the puppies) I will be back on at 9.30 to judge the entries. Good luck everyone and don't be eating the food!

Just trying out my new lighting kit after our recent studio lecture. Seems to be working quite well.

3rd place is Andy's Orange, Lemon & Banana, looks very fresh and appetising
2nd place is Paul's tomatoes, love the back background and the grains really set it off
but.....
My first place winner is Chris's macro of the rice. I just kept coming back to it, thought it looked fab!! Although the meal worms should have put Chris right down in the rankings as they are far from tasty (to me anyway lol)
WELL DONE CHRIS

Your macro shots are very interesting, shreddies will have to be investigated as I am sure they dont look like that normally lol

Thanks Maxine and well done Chris.
My first shots of the fruit were just one of each fruit (cut in half) but it was starting to look a little too "fruity", or rather "meat and two veg", so I added the other halves.
Looking forward to the next one and, yes, there does seem to be a convergence towards macro with the forum challenge which we might have to work on. Perhaps one of you could show your compact macro technique at the members' night.
